Headaches are one of the most common health complaints that I come across in my patients. In many cases, you can treat your headaches at home with painkillers, diet and by changing lifestyle.

Migraines

Migraine causes extreme headache. Common symptoms of migraine are eye pain, vomiting, and severe pain usually on one side of the head. A number of factors can trigger migraines to include stress, hormonal stress, certain food etc.

Hormonal Imbalance:

Headache before periods are very common in women. It can be cured by not taking stress, proper sleep and healthy diet.

Stress:

Stress is the most common reason for headaches. These types of headaches are not that severe as that of migraines. It could be from emotional stress or depression.

Dehydration:

To avoid dehydration it is recommended that you consume moderate amounts of water.  The immediate symptom of dehydration is headache.
